I’d know you anywhere, my love

This was the first book my little gosling ever received: a gift from a good friend, when he was only weeks old. Can’t remember when he started flipping through it, but at almost seven months he was enjoying looking at the animal pictures (have a photo to prove it). At almost two years old, he still loves to flip through it. I may have enjoyed the words more than he has, but he has enjoyed the beautiful animal drawings and the distinct red spot on each image. I find it a wonderful way to express love to one’s baby; imagining recognising one’s unique baby features in various animals. The white snowy owl and the mother lion with the cubs have been a favourite and the blue-footed booby was rebaptised as a goose 😉. I loved Nancy Tillman’s “I’d know you anywhere, my love” so much that I bought many other of her books.
